Surgical Hemostasis Agents
Surgiclean® surgical hemostasis agents is extracted from plant starch and prepared using reverse phase emulsification cross-linking technology. Its structure acts as a molecular sieve with numerous macrospores on the surface, forming a space net microstructure with pore diameters ranging from 30.8 to 97 μm. The product is terminally sterilized by EO sterilization, ensuring high safety through in vivo metabolism. Derived from natural plant ingredients, Surgiclean demonstrates excellent biocompatibility and does not adversely affect tissue healing or cause blood borne diseases.
Surgiclean® surgical hemostasis agents is indicated for use in surgical procedures as an adjunctive hemostatic device to assist in controlling capillary, venous, and arteriolar bleeding when conventional methods such as pressure, ligature, or other procedures prove ineffective or impractical.

Hemostatic Principle
Dual Action Mechanism:
With hydrophilic molecular sieve, it can absorb water in the blood instantly, and gather the formed components in the blood on the surface of the particles to produce "gelled matrix" and form a mechanical barrier to stop bleeding.
At the same time, local concentrations of platelets, coagulation factors, and fibrin are greatly increased to initiate and strengthen endogenous coagulation mechanism.
