Surgiclean® Hemostatic Powder is indicated in surgical as an adjunctive hemostatic device to assist when control of capillary,venous, and arteriolar bleeding by pressure, ligature, and other conventional procedures is ineffective or impractical. The structure of Surgiclean Hemostatic Powder is space net microstructure with a diameter between 30.8 and 97 μm.
Surgiclean® Hemostatic Powder is made of potato starch, and it is made by emulsification and crosslinking technology. The plant-based ingredients make it less side effect and better biocompatibility.
Surgiclean® Hemostatic Powder uses EO sterilization as the terminal sterilization. Surgiclean® Absorbable Hemostatic Powder are packaged in polyethylene sprayers sealed by screw caps, conditioned in a blister of PVC, sterilized with ethylene oxide and finally packaged into carton box.

Dual Action Mechanism:
With hydrophilic molecular sieve, it can absorb water in the blood instantly, and gather the formed components in the blood on the surface of the particles to produce "gelled matrix" and form a mechanical barrier to stop bleeding.
At the same time, local concentrations of platelets, coagulation factors, and fibrin are greatly increased to initiate and strengthen endogenous coagulation mechanism.
