Trauma Hemostasis Methods And Manifestations

Leave a message

Trauma can cause bleeding to varying degrees. When severe trauma is accompanied by ruptured internal organs or fractures, the amount of bleeding is greater, which is often the main cause of early death after trauma.

Causes
Trauma can cause bleeding to varying degrees.

Clinical manifestations
Under normal circumstances, the blood of an adult accounts for about 7% to 8% of body weight. A person weighing 60 kg has about 4500 ml of blood in his body. When the blood loss caused by trauma reaches more than 20% of the total blood volume, the patient may show symptoms of shock. If the blood loss reaches more than 40% of the total blood volume, the tissues and organs in the body will suffer from insufficient blood supply and hypoxia. If the blood volume cannot be replenished in time, these tissues and organs will suffer irreversible damage, leading to the patient's death.
